The Sports Family Club Day at the CU Football game vs Cal
We were honored to bring some children and adults to their first CU Football game courtesy of Ralphies Kids Round-up! In serving our role of enriching lives through sports we offered tickets to children and a couple of adults who have never been to a college football game. We hoped to have more participants as we offered 10 tickets to La Academia and the Denver Inner City Parish, but only one young man, Nick, seated in the center of the photo took us up on the offer. It was an honor being able to take him to his first college football game. Nick has a goal of going to CU and playing football for the Buffs. We were honored that we were able to show him the place where he may be playing football one day. The other young man in the front is Daniel. He is a young man without a father in his life who loves college football and has aspirations to be in the military when he grows up. We all had a good time, the game was very exciting as it went into overtime, but the CU Buffs fell to Cal 36-33.
